Inverter question

I have a 2015 eagle ht. 23.5 rbs. Is there an inverter on board that will convert 12v to 110v to any outlet without generator power?

Not unless it was added by you or a previous owner. It wasn't even a factory option.

I got two PURE SINE WAVE AIMS 600WATT model... One for truck and one for trailer... Low cost less than $150 each... Being pure sine wave I don't have to ever worry about what I am plugging into them...

These are my so called DUTY Power Inverters haha...

I run a multiple head extension cord up inside the trailer on the back of a convenient cabinet top...

I normally run all off the batteries and a few 120VAC small items off the Power inverters... When my batteries run down to their 12.0VDC (APPRX 50% charge state) the next morning then I hook up my trailer to my 2KW Generator and run for three hours starting at 8AM each morning. This gets me back up to the 90% charge state for the day/night again for that night...

This is my daily routine when camping off grid...

If you are interested in adding an inverter and having 110VAC service to all your outlets in the TT, you may want to look into purchasing an Automatic Transfer Switch. Inexpensive on Amazon and come in 30 and 50 amp models. It will automatically connect your TT to either Shore-Power when power is available or the Inverter should you lose power or are Dry-Camping.

Just remember no Air Conditioning and you will need to move the TT's Battery Charger to its own breaker so it is not working while on battery. Both easy things to care for

I just picked up my 1st TT last week. It’s a 2019 Jay Flight SLX 264BHW. We had never dry camped in our pop up so we made the newbie mistake thinking our outlets would be powered by the battery. [emoji44] We both laughed a little at our rookie mistake, then fired up the 3500 w generator to make coffee both mornings. The girls also used the hair dryer once each and we did use the microwave briefly a couple times. Ran the genny each time of course.

I’d like to add an inverter (2000w pure sine) for that reason above during dry camping and to allow phones, cameras, etc to charge. Since it’s brand new I’d rather not tear into the electrical or drill a lot of holes. I realize if I simply used my shore power plug on the 110 adapter plugged into the inverter I’d create a loop, right? The converter would pull power to try to charge the battery and probably not put enough to the outlets.

My breakers are not marked [emoji849] but I’m guessing based on the diagram that the 40 amp fuse is for the converter???

So, not being an electrical genius, could I pull the 40 amp fuse, plug in shore power to inverter with my 110 adapter and still have power to the outlets? Sorry for the long roundabout to get to my question and the slight hijack.

Pics of my setup currently...

No it is not that simple, do some more research on the inverter subject. Expect to invest in a adequate battery bank and a 2000 to 3000 watt inverter if you want to use the microwave and hairdryers.

I “found” a cigarette lighter style plug above the dinette yesterday and plugged in my small 300w inverter. It ran a couple small fans on it without issue. [emoji1303]
