Inverter question

I have my Pinnacle urged in next to my house all the time. I turn my residential refrigerator's compressor off when not in use. Should I turn my inverter off or just leave it on? Thanks.

I just leave mine on - it has an automatic transfer switch so i will come on when shore power is removed.

There is no electrical reason to have an inverter turned on when on shore power. An inverter is about 80% efficient even with no load so you are actually just wasting electricity for no reason.
