Inverter use question

I have a 2019 molk fifth wheel which has a residential frege. Battery mode through the inverter only runs the frege what most I do to get power to the receptacles

Your receptacles may be chain linked to a ground fault receptacle. This gfi is usually found in the washroom of kitchen area. Find this outlet and reset it. That would be my guess

Shore power.

My 17 Northpoint 375 has 2 separate battery systems. I have an group 32 size AGM battery for the main coach battery that is charged when connected to shore power or connected to the truck. The other battery system has a pair of 6v batteries connected in series to get 12v but together have a LOT more Ahr capacity than one 12v. These batteries are connected to the Xantrex inverter that powers the residential fridge. That the ONLY thing it powers. I had to upgrade my Xantrex to the Freedom XC. I kept to the same size wattage output but the XC is a TRUE sinewave inverter and has an automatic battery charger in it that charges the pair of 6v's when connected to shore power. All the rest of the 120v plugs in the trailer are powered from shore power.

And like Jeffur said, if you are already connected to shore power than it most likely is the GFI that has tripped and most are found in the washroom.

That's normal operation then.
If you are boondocking then you wont have any of the 120v plugs work other than the one that's connected to the inverter that powers your fridge. Depending on the size of the inverter you could add a plug or two but I'm pretty sure the inverter installed from the factory would be a 1000W and the fridge is about all its going to be able to power.
If your trailer had the generator prep package then you could install a genny and all your plugs would work.

That's starting to get a little out of my scope of knowledge.
You could call Xantrex and talk to one of their techs and they can advise on that. I spoke with one of them on a solution of keeping my old inverter and connecting the fridge battery system to the coach battery charging system. They highly advised against it which was what I was my thinking also.

You would have to change the breaker panel and add one with a split buss or add a separate panel and rewire the rig in order to get other receptacles operating off the inverter.

He's also going to need some additional battery power if he wants to run other 110v items too off the inverter.

My Pinnacle has several outlets that are powered by the inverter. They are labeled such as per the attached picture:

I just had my trailer rewired to run outlets off the inverter. I have an 1800w Xantrex. The inverter kept tripping the GFCI. Called Xantrex and found out the inverter I installed was a “modified sine wave” inverter rather than a “pure sine wave”. The modified version causes some GFCI receptacles to trip. Had to order a specific one recommended by Xantrex and the problem was fixed.

Just some info for your problem solving.

I can answer any electrical question you have but i need to see a connection diagram of the inverter. Also, how many amp hours do you have in your battery bank?

your inverter is only supposed to run your residential refrigerator. the other plugs are for shore power only

A lot more . A percolator on the stove would be way cheaper for a cup of coffee while boondocking
