Is this a bent axle?
Moryde CRE3000 Suspension. Dexter 7k Axles.
I went to install my TPMS and was airing up and looked. It visually looked like they were bowed "up". Mostly the front axle.
I have only hauled this thing 80 miles home from the dealer.
PLEASE tell me this is normal. (I don't expect that is going to be the case)
I do NOT know why some photos get turned sideways! Argh

I believe this is NOT normal. I wonder if someone jacked it from center of axles during PDI with a floor jack.

I'm ok with it if you are.

Sure looks normal to me. Go look at any other camper and you'll see some bend in the axle tube. Unless your bend is significantly more than other's, I wouldn't worry.

Just spoke with the service manager at my dealer.
He says it is normal.
Wow...

It's completely normal, and those that say it isn't have no idea what they are talking about. Axles have that bow so that when they are carrying load, the tire treads make better contact with the pavement.

I have had an actual bent axle, and the way I knew it was bent was because it had lost its arch. It resulted in rapid tire wear on the inside tread of one tire.
Arch=Good
No Arch=Bad

Yep, that's how they keep the camber in spec. More weight lessens the arch which keeps the camber in spec as weight is added.

This is normal, designed to accommodate weight.. Ever see an unloaded flat bed semi trailer with the bow in it. Same thing..

Looks normal. The key to a bent axle, is abnormal tirewear.

Mopar Earl is 100% right. It has to be bent a certain amount to keep the camber of the tires riding flat on the road. Axles are bent to certain specs for the max load they can carry. Lighter load axles, less bend. This is the exact reason you DON'T jack up your rig off the axles to change a flat tire, grease bearings, adjust brakes, etc... lifting a trailer off the axles, especially a loaded one, can bend it more then you have a real mess on your hands.
Call Dexter if you'd like peace of mind. They will tell you the same thing. Trust me. I called them YEARS ago. My dad got a new flat deck trailer a few years back and had a question about the axles and suspension and they told him the same.

I would worry if the axle gets flattened out. Then you know you have a problem. I had to replace an axle that flattened out on a Keystone I had. $700 later, it was back on the road.

They are built with an arch. If it wasn’t there it would bend downward and possibly snap. When you make a turn that axle bends in ways you wouldn’t believe

The axle tube is bent to provide camber. Totally normal.
