Isn't It Way too Early for Freezing Weather?

I agree with nature cycles too. Warm places get colder, and cold places get warmer. I'll stay in NY for a while to see if I like the weather Florida gets! Might not need the snow blower after a time.

My brother lives outside of Denver and let me tell you he was delighted to see snow. I was told this is a month early unseasonable weather. Colorado is a fickle fellow. I would go and enjoy the trip and not sweat it. Its like Michigan. Wait 5 minutes and see what happens. Michigan is experiencing unseasonable weather and I hope it stays around for a while. Would love to do one more camping trip without being rained out. Happened for the last 2 years. Good luck.

We just finished up two weeks on the Western Slope of Colorado at 7200 feet. It was our first time out with temps that cold, believe the low went to 30. We had 30amps and water at our campsite. We weren’t sure what to expect so we drained our lines and detached the water.

Weren’t sure how much propane we’d need for heating so that was our biggest concern. But we lucked out remembering we had a small Vornado fan that also acts as a heater. When the temp in the RV dropped to 70 on the night the front came in (it was hot during the day) we turned the fan on. It kept our rig at 70 for the three days it stayed cold! Way quieter then the furnace fan that cycles on and off.

About a month ago when this thread started, they were projected a snomageddon winter....



It seems a lot of this related to bird migrations. Millions died for reasons that remain unclear.
