It's Finally in! Picking up our New Fifth Wheel Tomorrow :)

SO EXCITED!!! We traded our Motorhome for a Brand New Fifth Wheel at the Hershey Show in September. It Finally Came in and we are Picking it up tomorrow in Albany. They let us keep our Motorhome to use till we pick up the New Fifth Wheel. Just Praying there are No Rissues on the way to Albany tomorrow.

We will now be PROUD owners of a 2014 Jayco Eagle Premier 375BHFS.

CANNOT Wait! Can you tell how excited we are?

Just printed out a PDI checklist. Hope all goes well. We will surely Miss our Motorhome as we made so many Wonderful Memories with our Family. Bittersweet

Will post pics after we get it.

Just make sure everything works before you leave. If you got it from Albany rv the warenty service is not good, I know 6 + people that bought rv from them and will never go back. I am not trying to rain on your parade, but make sure every think works. On a side note you will love the new unit.

Congrats on your new camper. Take your time and go through it with a fine tooth comb. Don't let them rush you and ask any questions that you don't understand. I am sure you will be happy with Jayco. We are very happy as we have had 7 new ones. The last one was a lemon. Happy Trails.

Have them demonstrate "emergency manual retraction" of the slides. That will be good for a few laughs!

Enjoy, take your time with the PDI but above all else HAVE FUN!!

We Could NOT Pick up the Fifth Wheel. The dealership called us night before to say it was damaged. We still took the ride out to see. They said it was delivered that way to them. Looks like someone backed up and dented the rear bottom skirt in back. So we decided to have it fixed. The dealership ordered the New Skirt. I spoke to the owner and they gave us an additional 5 year warranty for our troubles and will deliver the Fifth Wheel to our home when it is complete. Just so FRUSTRATING. We were very excited to pick it up. Still did our PDI and now just wait.

THANK YOU all who replied with your advice or Good Wishes! Will let you know when we FINALLY get it!

The extra five years sounds pretty good . Make sure they put it in the contract.

Congrats and sorry. Ours is scheduled to come off line next week, then just awaiting delivery. My dealer is pushing to get it in to me before Dec so hopefully it happens, but I am not hopeful with Thanksgiving just around the bend.

Glad that the dealer took care of you like that. You must have said all the right things! I'd take that deal in trade for a short wait period this time of year. Plus anything else you found on the PDI would be addressed as that would need to be done anyhow.

Good luck!

We purchased our new 5th wheel last summer, so far it hasn't been a trouble free experience. Take your time with the PDI!
Enjoy the new camper!
