It's official.

Well, figure out that we wanted to go back to the 5th Wheel now, I know a little too late but this is something that we love and we want the right RV for our travel.

We go and pick up our new 2023 North Point 310RLTS next Wednesday the 24th, I went out to the motorhome today and pack a lot of the stuff we had in the motorhome so it will be easier for us to transfer everything on the day of.

We can't wait to use it and go somewhere but it want be right away those we have to place everything of course. There will be plenty of pics also.

Thank you guys, we of course had a 2019 321RSTS and we just recently bought the Class A gas motorhome, thinking that we would like that better, so we decided to go back we love the 5th wheel better.

I can't speak from experience but have heard many times once you get comfortable with a fifth-wheel it will always be your RV of choice.

Enjoy your new North Point!

Congratulations. Glad you were able to get it done. I know I've told this before but 9 of our 40 years or so of rv'ing were with motorhomes. We had a couple of pop-ups early on but the rest have been fifth wheels. I never got comfortable with the motorhomes. Way too many moving parts, expenses of repair and maintenance, needing a towable car, insurance costs, etc weighed pretty heavy on me while we had them. To each their own but my comfort level is with a fifth wheel.

As soon as this knee replacement I had done last week let's me I hope to see you on the road somewhere.

That’s great you were able to work something out. Never cheap swapping RV stuff, but also no point in paying for something you don’t like 100% when there’s other options for you. Looking forward to the photos.

Thumbs up

We made a good many of those expensive decisions also over the years. We got the class A fever early after a TT and came to the same decision you did. Fifth wheels are our mode of choice. Then we kept getting one foot itis until we ended up with a 38 footer. Now we are hoping to keep it until….. We love our current fp, finally.

Thank you guys, we go to pick it up next week so all we have to do is to sign the papers and off we go, I just order a B&W hitch so it should be here on Friday so I can put it together.

I will take pics of course, we are loving it well even the wheel on our new 5th wheel match pretty close to the wheels on my Chevy it looks like it will be a good combo.

Are you trading your precept for the Northpoint, or did you sell it outright? Would love to hear the reasons you went back to the 5th wheel

Congrats on the new 5er!
Good minds think alike,... Chevy truck, B&W, Northpoint,... lol! We love our 17 Northpoint. We went from a tent to a 34' Montara 5er, then to a 40' Sierra 5er, and then our current Northpoint. Just don't see us fitting in anything but a 5er. I've even converted a few friends from travel trailers to 5er's.
Safe travels and enjoy!!

Get well soon and back on the road. Glad the surgery went fine, now a little PT and you will be good as new.

Yes we did trade it and yes we lost a lot of coins but we want to go back because the feeling of the 5th wheel work for us the 5th is a little bigger.

Thank you, we look at Montana just like yours but they don't take motorhome, I like the 3121RL.
