Jayco 2015 Pinnacle 36kpts

I am going to replace my E size tires on our 5er. I am considering going to a G size, or an H. Both upgrades will require new rims. Does anyone have any suggestions based on your experience?

I just changed out my tires, I wanted to go to load range G. I looked at them and felt the ride would be very rough on the trailer, there is no flex In the sidewalls at all. Very heavy duty. It requires a rim change mainly due to the fact that it is not a 16 inch tire, also load capacity which is complete overkill. On my trailer the rims are marked on the backside with load range. I then went to manufacturer website and determined the max air pressure (125). I got load range F tires (95psi) 14 ply. I got the specs for my current tire and new tire that in load range F was not available in my exact size, and determined the new tire was 1 inch taller (1/2 inch installed) . They have not rubbed or hit bottom of floor. I have towed 1500 miles since install. The trailer does not bounce like it used to and I swear it rolls easier, also the tires do not always look low on air like the old tires. Old tires maxxis new tires Hercules. I had rims on a triple axle toy hauler that looked identical to these rims, but on the inside of the rim(had to take tires off rim to see) it was marked 80 PSI MAX

I'm running S637 G's on my '14 361REQS. When I tried to find out what psi my rims were rated to I got 80, 110 and should be 110 as the 3 answers from 3 places (Treddit, another supplier & Jayco) so I put them on my OE rims and run them @ 100psi. No issues so far and I have 25,000km on them.

If I was going to buy new rims I would likely have gone 17.5's. The trailer rides rougher with the G's as there is no compliance in the sidewall, like having 4 solid rubber tires under the trailer.

We have the same camper as you and recently upgraded both our rims and tires. We went with the 17.5 in rims and S637's. We purchased them from trailertiresandwheels.com and were very satisfied with their service. I was able to sell the old tires and rims locally which helped to offset some of the cost. After weighing our rig and crosschecking the inflation vs. weight charts we run them at 105psi. They now have 5500 miles on them and still look like new.
