What year and configuration (crew cab? etc) is your Chevy 2500 Duramax?

A 2011 crew cab can pull a 15,600 lbs fifth wheel.

The unloaded weight of the 365BHS is 11,740 lbs, and the Gross Vehicle Weight is 15,800 lbs.

We have a 31.5 FBHS. Several things I love. 1. Tall Master Bedroom (I am 6'3"). 2. I like the bottom bunks being on the floor (Allows for storage while traveling across the whole floor, and this weight is over the fifth wheel so the weight will be on your truck NOT on the load range D tires that are already close to MAX capacity) 3. Separate water closet 4. Lots of inside storate

Things that are not so great

1. 15" Load range D tires (replacing my with 16" E Tires soon) 2. Not enough outside storage (I think the new models have a storage compartment on awning side at back, not sure how big this is but my model has closet doors that go all the way to the floor inside.) 3. Bedroom doesn't get as cold as rest of the unit.

Other than these things I think we will keep ours for several more years.

I agree with everything said here. Our 2010 is a great unit, we had some minor problems at first, but they are the same with any brand. I have zero problems handling this fiver with my truck.

We have a 2011 31.5 FBHS and love it. We haven't had any problems with it yet, except the water pump is horribly noise, but other than that we love this camper. We have 2 kids that like to bring friends and for us it is the perfect camper. we also tow a 4500lb boat behind it with no problems at all. We searched all the popular brands and deceided on this one and couldn't be happier. Hope this helps.....Mark

Kitty and I made the trip to look at the bunkhouse. Just what we need, auh "want". Wingard Sat Dish on the roof, and hitch. There is just 31,200.00 reasons not the get it. We are going to look and price in Tulsa next week. Maybe I can find less reasons there!!!

I looked at the 31.5 FBHS and the 30.5 BHLT.
31.5 FBHS Pros: 4 bunks, tall celing in bedroom
Absolutely LOVED the 30.5 BHLT - U-shaped dinette, outside cooktop and grill, two bunks PLUS huge LOFT, the wood inside looked a lot better.
We bought the 30.5 BHLT

We have a 2011 31.5 FBHS and love it. I had the same problem as Horses Ghost and found that if you remove the cover panel in the master bedroom to the water heater, there is one of the lines that was rubbing on the wall just inside. I had a felt dot for the bottom of a chair foot. Put it between wall and pipe and noise was minimal. The bunks right on the floor are great for toddlers, as we have 3 children under 4. Wish they would have put ladders in but that is minor.

Talking RE: I own a Jay Flight 31.5 BHDS...

We have had ours for going on 3 years and enjoy it quite a bit...The reason why we like it so much was because of the large slide out family room...We have to boys 12 and 17 years old and it fits are need pretty well, lots of room and storage...I pull it quite easily with our 2006 GMC 2500 diesel.
