Jayco 5th 1997 slide issue

HI, I have an issue with slide out and need to manually crank it in. The manual mentions a place on the motor that is a lock release but I can't locate where the motor is located and the manual doesn't state where that is.
Would appreciate any help!-thank you.

HI, It is a 3510 5th wheel with Designer Series written on the side, 1997. The main slide or living room slide. Was working fine but now it is stuck in the out position and I need to get it in so I can change the tires. I found where the controller is and where to use the manual crank but the book said I need to switch the "release" before cranking it which is on the motor.

It's probably under the floor, if your underbelly is enclosed there may be an access panel already directly under it. On the end of the motor will be a rubber cap with a small thumb sticking out that is what you need to turn to release the brake.

Thank you for the helpful info. Had a mobile RV "electric specialty" repair guy come out and it came down to a bad motor however we were able to manually crank it is 4/5 of the way in when it stopped and would not move, the guy thinks there is a cotter pin that busted and that I, not he, would have to fix it. So now I have to try to find a relevant Power Gear motor. Any suggestions on best place to find one, guy suggested Ebay.

Lippert bought Power Gear so they may have it along with Amazon, eTrailer or multiple others.
