Hello fellow eagle owners

I joined this forum to get info about problems with jayco fifthwheels and what youall have done to fix the problems. Here’s my problems so far
With my 2020 eagle 357mdok
Bunk door won’t stay aligned
Hot water heater caught fire spiders nest
Fart fan button
One touch system won’t sync

If you had same problems or worse please let me know how you fixed them.

2014 27.5 ht Jayco eagle rlts, problems I encountered was a seized actuator arm for tip out, new tires, new brakes complete, corrode wires for rear electric equalizer jacks, in all not too bad for six years and approx.: 45,000 km. Travelled to Alaska, next year to Arizona, British Columbia, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky, following year Arizona and northern Alberta

Jayco 5th Wheel Poll

2020 Eagle 321 RSTS - The jury is still out on whether I 'love' it or not. We need to have a few trips where we do not find new problems that require warrant work. So far, every single outing has resulted in new issue(s).

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, let's hope that it work out okay. We bought our last year and so far we only had one item that we had to take it back, oh, I forgot the front seal where coming off but other than that no other issue.

I have owned 3 Jayco products over the past few years and recently purchased a 2020 Jayco HT 5th wheel and have never been so disappointed and disgusted with a camper.* The quality control at Jayco seems to be non existent.* I have owned the trailer for less than 3 months and have had over 20 issues with the unit from unconnected wires (from the factory) to several slide failures, awning malfunctions, battery cables flying off, bathroom fan fell out of roof, stereo unoperable and so on.* In reviewing recent BBB ratings I see a 1 star generous rating over the past few years and nothing but complaint after complaint.* In contacting Jayco customer service nothing but lip service and even that is bad.

A not proud Jayco or should I say Junko owner (probably not for long)

We just picked up an identical 2016 North Point. We are taking off on the Sept 24th for our first run to Ocala Florida, then on down to the Space Coast. We hope you all enjoy yours.

Cool jayco quality control

We have a 2017 37 rsts. Have owned it for 3 years now and have about 15,000 miles on it. Had never been back to the dealer until last year. Jayco had a recall on the suspension. Replaced and upgraded the whole suspension.
New leaf springs, bump stops, backing plates. Jayco paid for 4 tire replacements.
We have been very happy with the RV. other than some minor cosmetic issues
all systems have been a go. We have upgraded to disc brakes, wow.
satellite, batteries. The jayco fiver has been good and we are enjoying.
Life is not perfect and stuff happens. The difference is how the manufacturer treats the customer and their issues.
Jayco while not perfect has been OK IMO.

2017 37 rsts
2017 denali crew cab, long bed, dually, diesel.

New Northpoint 382 FLRB took delivery 10/10. Being in construction and maintenance all my life I knew I was in for a adjusting period. And yes we have a list!
That is no different then the first year model of Corvette C8 or any other complex equipment. What is important is the dealer and it attention to your concerns and attention to detail to of the repairs which goes hand in hand with the manufacture and it support to the dealer. So be patient and be nice. I find our new Jayco Northpoint a amazing piece of engineering, with very good fit and finish. To add to our new experience is the GMC 3500. Has very good towing tech, transmission is very good and diesel has more then enough torque to allow this to move..now stopping that is different Chev/GMC has a very soft pedal and does not work well with the brake controller..My RAM was much much better

Hi everyone,
Getting back into camping, and looking at 2021 Northpoint fifth wheel. Is Jayco still a good RV after being bought out?
We use to own a jayco years ago in 2014. I like the fifth wheel bells and whistles, but want to get your input on models now. Thank you
Rick

Well, they are pretty much like most other brands. Some good, some bad, some ugly. What I have personally found with my unit is that the stuff that is easily visible was done 'decently'. Thing not easily visible, such as items mounted is the basement area, or underneath, are very sloppy. Some were downright dangerous and required being addressed. Punchlist was over 50 items, including things like leaking fuel and lack of operating brakes. Good times...

Out of the first two years I had it, 15 months of 'warranty' efforts. Mostly issues with the dealer lack of interest or lack of capability. Whatever you get, focus on the dealer service experience, and if there are staff that have been there long term. A bad dealer can make this a pretty miserable experience.
