Jayco eagle ht side wall fading

My 2017 Jayco eagle ht is fading on the side wall and it’s showing where structural support is like it would on any camper with frost or dew on it already had the front cap painted now this still under warranty just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or know a fix camper gets washed and spray waxed 4 5 times a year

That’s odd. As you said, I’ve only seen that when it’s really humid and I’ve had the AC cranking.

Looks like your decal is faded also. That would suggest something ran off the roof and discolored it. Did you clean your roof? If it was oxidization, your decal would not have faded in the same place.

It’s the decal and the fiberglass both just not a good picture I’ve used wax on it by hand but not a high speed buffer

Side wall fading

I have the same year Eagle HT And have the exact same issue. Noticed it in august 2020. Not sure my decals are also affected. But you can see structural frame on the side wall. Please advise what if anything your dealer did under warranty?

My dealer did nothing what I ended up doing was using Polly glow it helped to blend it and then give it a shine like the rest of the camper

I have the same year and same issue. First noticed it after using simple green to clean some yak off that side. After that is when I noticed the color fading. From my experiences on the front cap I am guessing the clear coat is now gone where it looks faded. I bought some auto 2 stage semi gloss in a shaker can but havent tried it yet. The auto clear on my front cap worked well to correct that problem.

I have not used any covers. It’s like linear shadows in the areas of the structural frame of the trailer. Has the gel coat oxidized in these areas ?

I have a 2017 HT model also and it is doing it too. It makes the trailer look like it is over 20 years old already. I would say this is my biggest complaint with the Jayco line up. So bad I will probably never buy a Jayco again. I know all manufactures have there issues but I never dreamed that this would have been a major problem.

2018 Eagle totally faded

Have a 2018 Eagle that is doing the same thing! It's horrible, value has dropped now that it looks 20 years old already!

I have the same thing happening on the driver side of my 2019 Pinnacle. Absolute nothing running off the roof. The strips correspond to the structural "studs" on the side. Have not tried anything to polish it yet. Plan on addressing the problem in a few weeks. Will let you know if I have any success.

I have a 2019 355 and it's doing the same thing. NOthing seems to help it. I'm trying to get over it cuz just shy of repainting it's gonna look like that again in two months. In April I paid $1200 to have it detailed. Looked great coming out, now it's back to the way it was. I'm not into climbing ladders and waxing this thing every couple of months. Really disgusted.

Yes, we noticed it stands out most on the studs as well. Please let me know if you have any luck 'minimizing' the issue! Thank you!!

This appears to be a wide spread problem. I'm sure someone will come up with the cause and/or remedy.
