Jayco Eagle HT walk through (if anyone is shopping)
I thought I would put this on here for anyone that was just looking for a walk through and review. When I was shopping I could not find any video's or forum's on the Eagle HT. Hope it will help anyone making any future decisions.

Thanks for the video. We are looking into a bunkhouse 5th wheel and this video was very helpful. We also like the 30.5MBOK & 29.5BHDS models.

Just curious, what pinbox and 5th wheel hitch did you get?

Great Choices. I really love the MBOK model. Unfortunately they didn't have it in stock when I purchased mine but still I am very pleased with my decision. All in all great quality campers that will bring you many years of happiness. Please post pictures of your final decision. I would love to see it.

Thanks. I couldn’t tell by the picture, but are you towing with an F-150 or 250?

I started with the 2016 f150 but being so close to my maximum tow capacity decided to upgrade to the f250 since i planned to do long distance trips.

We also upgraded ours from 150 to 250 after purchasing the JayFlight we bought because the towing was rough. Now that we upgraded the truck we are looking into a 5th wheel.

Another question, how comfortable is the leather sofa? The one we have which looks similar to yours is god awfully uncomfortable to sit or to sleep on. We’re considered replacing it for a reclining futon of a couple of captains chairs.

Not sure it is the same sofa but ours was a bit uncomfortable as well. We bought recliners to replace the sofa since we never have overnight guests.
We love the 29.5BHOK. If I was not shy about towing length the longer Eagle HT with the middle bedroom would have been a good choice (we would have removed the bed and changed into a hobby room like we did with our bunkhouse).

Would you mind sharing where you bought your recliners?
Thanks.

I just put an order in for a 2018 29.5BHOK ten minutes before watching this video. It was a great video and answered almost all of the few small things I wasn't 100% sure on.
I do have a question about how the two Gray Water tanks are set up. Does one cover the shower and bathroom sink, and the other takes the water from the inside and outside kitchen? Do they connect together to essentially make one large tank?

We're using a B&W turnover ball with an aluminum Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel hitch. The setup weighs about 40lbs, takes 10 minutes to install and once you turn the gooseneck ball over, you've got a clean bed to work with.

We have the 2017 version and love it.
The two grey water tanks are separate, one for the shower and bathroom and the other for the two kitchen sinks. There is a separate drain for the rear tanks and it is also plumbed to drain out the front one (so you only have to run one hose to the dump location). There are three handles for dumping, two for grey tanks and one for black.
But, if you put a gate valve on the front tank drain, then you could open the two grey tanks and 'share' them. Note: this is NOT recommended for a simple reason. If the black water valve has a leak then it will also drain into the two tanks.
When dry camping I use one of the dump line 'caps' that has a hose bib on it. I have an old water hose with one end cut off that I will connect and then dump grey water only into a nearby bush or such. Again, if your black tank valve has a leak this is a health hazard.

Great video. We're loving our 2017 29.5 BHOK so far. Had a bit of an issue with the setup on the tanks. I started a thread on questions around that and don't want to hijack, but vcbice, could you answer my question there?
