Gooseneck adapter has been an ugly phrase for years & probably rightfully so. A good friend was using one on a 42' toyhauler a few years back. I cautioned him to keep a check on the frame welds which he laughed off. He thankfully developed problems with his landing gear & the mechanic found a massive crack while replacing the motor. The Goosebox is different in the fact it completely replaces the stock pinbox rather than just an added attachment. It now comes with the blessing of lippert for use on their recently built frames & is actually offered as an oem option by some fifth wheel manufacturers. Open range now comes with a combo hitch that allows for a king pin or gooseneck setup. I fail to see how the stress is geometrically different with the Goosebox but if lippert is comfortable with it I guess they've got it figured out. I'll definitely check jaycos position on it, however, before I pull the trigger.

Thanks, Boocoodinkydow, I had not heard of Gooseboxes... er Geesebox ... er Geeseboxes... of those things.

It is a 94622. I bought it second hand and decided not to use it. I will sell it at a loss.

I'll take $500 for my 94622 GooseBox. We'll figure out what to do on shipping.
