Jaycommand tps

Just recently installed and paired the TPS sensors for the TPS. After being in storage for a bit, it seems like they have a hard time getting connected again. 2 of them connected right away, 1 reconnected after about 4-5 minutes, and the last one hasnít reconnected after about 10 minutes. I may have to re-pair it I guess.

Just wondering if this is normal for this, or if it may be a battery issue, even though the sensors are new?

Thanks!

While I am not sure if all tpms sensors are the same, I know that most if not all have a "sleep" mode to save the battery life. The sensor will wake up once the tire starts rolling, some take ~15 mph or so to wake up (as I have read). On the other hand, mine will wake up with a thump of my finger to them, yours may also, I would give that a try.

I suppose I should have asked already, when you stated the amount of time it took for those that the did reconnect, was that time while the RV was rolling, or just parked? If parked then try thumping the sensor to make it wake up and see what happens.

Good point - it was while parked. I’m making sure all of my pressures are where they should be after winter hibernation
