Jaycos customer service disappointment

I just received a call from a rodney at jayco warranty and to my surprise he started to verbal attack me because i ask a safety questions about my unit and i still stand firm on my safety concerns with the unit. It must have upset him. I can only say this about jayco. This is my last jayco i will never purchase another and their quality is horrible. Quality is what the shut down their 5th wheel plants last year because thor wanted units not quality. Well i guess you win jayco but your lack of quality will always catch up to you, may it bite you square in the azz.

Ps.. I have owned 8 jaycos in my lifetime but will never buy another

I’m courious as to what is the safety concern is with the RV. I have found the folks on here to be more than helpful in solving issues.

There is another thread started by the OP about the specs of the spare tire not being the same as the ones on the axles. The OP views it as a safety issue. Neither the dealer nor Jayco feel it is.

And I don't either and that's after 43 yrs of RV ownership. Just my 2 cents. Why? Because I never lost a tire on a trailer or FW.

Isn’t it common in the auto industry to include a spare tire that’s a different size than the tires on the ground? At least with a trailer, none of the tires are drive or steer tires.

Why does someone register for this Forum just to bad mouth Jayco?

I mean, if you join the JOF, post you bought a new RV, get the usual "welcome, nice rig, etc", great! But to join and then do nothing but bellyache, well, I don't know.

So, you didn't get an answer you liked. Put on your big boy drawers and deal with it.
