JayVoice loud confirmation beep and my dogs

Does anyone know how to disable the very loud confirmation beep. The beep occurs when the Jayvoice finishes a command. It is driving my dogs nuts. It is so loud like the smoke detector in my house. The dogs just sit and shake.
Jayco was NO HELP!! Thank you

I don't think you can disable it, but you can elect not to use it

Haha. That is what Jayco said. I asked that someone in engineering to work on it. I cannot believe that other owners don't have the same problem. Most people with RVs have dogs.

Ain't new technology great? I bet with enough searching you will find a way to defeat it. Where is the youngster when you need them?

Jayco doesn't build that device... I'm pretty sure it's a company called "Modulus" and the model is called "Director"

They would be the one to talk to.

here is what I found about the Modulus Director. I am calling American Technology Componets first thing in the morning.

Hey Jayco, “turn on the A/C.”

Jayco has introduced JayVoice, powered by Modulus director from American Technology Components, on select models of Jayco luxury fifth wheel RVs.

Paired with JAYCOMMAND, the new JayVoice system, RVers can now voice command functions such as A/Cs, lights, furnaces and more!

Hello

We had the same problem. There is no way to just disable the beep so we just shut off the Jay Voice. Our Jay Voice would randomly come on when the work Jayco wasn't even spoken. In our Pinnacle where the Jay Voice is up in the ceiling we took the cover off and pulled the 4 pin plug. That shut off the Jay Voice completely. No more shaking upset dog. Hope this help. Karen

Thank you

Hey thanks Karen
I have the phone number to the engineer at Bmpro and I think we should all call and request they do a software fix. I spoke to them and they are good folks but not interested in just one complaint. We could all pressure Jayco as well. Most people with older dogs have this issue. Let me know if you are interested in the information to call them.

Not specific to this device because I have not opened one.

Somewhere on the circuit board will be a speaker looking device. Often times a small two pin connector is attached. Pulling the wire will silence it. Sometimes it is hardwired. Sound deadening material might also work. Once upon a time my company silenced almost every electric device that came through our doors. We got good at clipping wires and wrapping the annoyance.

X2.
Our electric fireplace has a annoying pizeo beep that needed to be quieted. If you can locate it, one method is to pack the hole full of "fun tack", the rubbery substance used to hang posters and stop vases from sliding off of shelves. Still beeps, but around 70% quieter.
