JBL Sound System
My wife and I were less than impressed with the sound of the JBL stereo. Ours wasn’t as bad as some we tried on dealers lots, they sounded almost like a transistor radio. I had some time yesterday and got the owner’s manual out for the Nano subwoofer and the radio. I could see part of the subwoofer through the TV trap door that opens when it rises, but couldn’t reach it. There are settings that you can change using a small flat tip screwdriver on the top of the subwoofer. I pulled the fireplace out to get to it, (really easy, 2 screws for the glass face and four mounting screws to the wood cabinet for the actual fireplace. There I could add bass and gain and boy did that wake up the sound. The actual JBL is on the “A” speakers only as the other speakers are just cheap speakers. Now we have very good sound for radio and blue toothing our own music as well as a better sound system for the TV. Just wanted others to be aware of the adjustments you can make on the Nano subwoofer that greatly increases the bass output for the sound.
