Just bit the truck upgrade bullet

After this last 3k mile trip to camp said enough. My truck was at max and more. Want to start heading out west and than up and over to our camp in Keene NY. Just got the new addition yesterday. 2019 Ram 3500 4x4 LB DWR Laramie with HO motor 30k factory hitch and air suspension tow package. Cannot wait for next trip whenever FW gets the slide fixed. Still recouping from sticker shock some. Lol

New Beast
Dog loves the big backseat floor. That 12 inch display is like a TV.
A few pics background shows some of the destruction from the cat 5 hurricane a year ago. It was all heavily treed across from me and now nothing but a swamp. At least the new beast has a safe place under the stilt house and FW has a new enclosed carport. The truck makes up for last years hell.

Tom,
The new redesigned suspension on 2019 3500 is sweet riding with air. Way less leafs than my old truck and the new ones without air. I still cannot believe how smooth it is with no load.

The new RAM 3500 is a beautiful rig. Dodge has really improved an already great truck. My DW will not let me within 5 miles of a RAM dealership

Nice beast Roc. Did a similar thing this past June. Found a left over 2018 Ram 2500 with a Cummins for $20k under it's sticker price. Truely a nice rig. Towels the TT like a dream.

Just did first 30 mile tow to the service dept. What a difference, just gotta get use to my first long bed. Now for the catch 22. My old short bed I could turn just sharp enough that the back of the pin box would just hit my bed rail inside. With the long bed If I turn real sharp it will
Rip across the bed rail. I was at 6 inch FW clearance and raised the hitch full up. That gives me bed rail pin box clearance and 7 1/2 inch FW clearance. Now I am FW nose high. So now I wonder the advantage of a long bed if the pin box hits turning sharp if not raised high.

Sweet set up, I’ve been saying for a while now the rams I think are the best looking truck out there right now, just can’t seem to find a way in to the dealers lot as gm trucks have treated me good for years, but I wish they had the air suspension and that tv screen. Congrats

Still getting use to the tech. Gotta love backing up the hitch with all the camera views.
Can anyone tell me why some pics post sideways like these?

What rear differential ratio do you dually fans recommend,,in a 1 ton dually diesel? If it was a new f-350 with the 7.3 gas what ratio would you recommend? I have a 2018 F-450 V-10 gas with a 4:56 and it will pull anything you want to pull. Just need some real world help,,I will be ordering a 2020..
