Been looking at F450 Lariat with 7.3 and 4.30 gears, it should tow my 22 ft 5,000 pound trailer ok . Probably be able to tow at least 65 mph.

Congrats on the new F250. Let us know if will reach a 100MPH. I figure being an inch lower Ford may let it run above 95MPH which is my current limit.

Hey Congratulations on the new truck! I have a 2018 F-250 XLT with the 6.2 gas. The reason I went with gas was the Diesel Fuel issue in that past few years. The 6.2 gas and a 2018 Eagle HT 28.5 had no problem going anywhere I have been. Have Fun!

Nice Truck, 7.3 is a beast. I’ve watched a few videos of Fords development of this engine, and it seems rock solid. What will you be towing with your new truck?

If I read the table correctly, you lose about 800 pounds of payload with the 7.3 v 6.2

Just got home from being run out of State Park due to Park closing for virus and saw a new F-450 with a p/u bed and a 7.3 . The owner said dealer ordered the Truck first week of January and he took delivery of truck last week. The truck was a 4x4 Lariat 4 door, it was bad azz looking Truck.

We tow a 2020 Eagle HT 30.5 MLOK. weight is right about 10k (per CAT scale) loaded. We want to move up to the Eagle 231RSTS in the future, so this truck fills the bill for future also.

Hi
My 6.2 (Super cab S/B 4x4) payload was 3267 lbs. The new 7.3 (Crew cab S/B 4x4) is 2992 lbs. Lost 275 lbs of payload.

Also for anyone that is curious, the 2020 is about an inch shorter than the 2017-19's should make us nice and level while towing.
Now I can't wait to get out there* !

I've got a diesel and really like it, but I'm interested in how the 7.3 performs in towing an RV. I would sure miss having to get DEF and fueling up at dirty truck stop fuel pumps.

Thanks! My rig could be towed by that monster if the gross was right. I'll have to look it up.
I believe I could go to that gasser with my rig.
