I was just going to say you should have kept you other one longer the depreciation hit was more than 8k for a 2 year old truck.

I believe I could go to that gasser with my rig.
Get the F-350 with the 7.3L and 10 speed transmission to be absolutely sure although that's pretty good payload for an F-250. My F-250 has 3305lbs payload but has the 6.2L and 6 speed transmission.

Congrats on your new truck. We just acquired 2020 F350 Lariat with 7.3 V8 also. Had a 2016 F350 Lariat 6.2 V8 but was concerned about power pulling 10K fifth wheel Eagle HT 27.5 we’re looking to purchase. Payload on 2016 was 3,884 lbs. Payload on 2020 is 4,106. I do know that the 7.3 V8 engine is about 30lbs lighter than the 6.2 V8 engine. I should be OK after reading other posts on here about what 6.2 V8’s are towing.

@ atxguy, welcome to the forum and you should have no problem towing your 5th wheel with that 2020 F350. Do you have any pics?

58” with centerline on rear axle. I bought this truck with factory 18” rims and tires but switched them out with some OEM F350 20” wheels I had on another truck and installed new 285 65 20 BFG All Terrains on them. Rails previously measured 57.5” high and now measure the 58” noted above. Will be using Andersen Ultimate Fifth Wheel Hitch.

Congrats! Looked at a F350 also, but it didn't have all the options I wanted, didn't have the 5th wheel package. Not many to choose from out there in my area! But I love this truck. Good luck with yours!

Bought a 350 diesel in the fall, with the intention of buying a 5er the winter, which we did. Was going to wait for a 20 with the 10 speed but didn't want to be a guinea pig. We were able to special order our truck and still got a great deal. Hearing lots of great things about the 7.3 though

Havent done anything yet. Probably won't as we ended up doing an extended warranty. I know it's choked up with all the emissions stuff but they've really been cracking down on trucks missing what they came from the factory with. I may put some more aggressive tires on it when the stock ones wear out though. Love it so far though, night and day over 1 tons of the past
