Keyless Entry

I am looking for sources to purchase a keyless entry lock for the main door.
Any suggestions will certainly be appreciated. Thank you!

I bought the Bauer NE Bluetooth Setup directly from Bauer and installed. Nice unit and works well. https://bauerproducts.com/product/bauer-ne-bluetooth/

I second the Bauer Lock w/Bluetooth option. Less then a 5 min install and works great. The Bauer Lock does not have the keypad membrane which tends to wear pretty quickly. It has a touch sensitive like your cel phone.. Nothing to wear out.. The Bluetooth option using your phone to lock/unlock is a neat option to have.. I recently saw them on Ebay for $225 which is a great price.. I got mine direct from manufacture and paid around $265.

Forgot to mention... you can order your Bauer lock to be keyed to your RV Locks.. Jayco uses Bauer Locks. I just provided my key codes and my Lock arrived keyed to to match within 1 week..

I have the RVLock and have mixed feelings. Has worked fine for the last two years, but a few days ago I heard a very faint beeping noise. Took a while to find out where it was coming from but finally tracked it down to the lock. It was very faint, not like the loud beep you get when locking and unlocking. I listened to it for a while and then it locked the door by itself!!!!! It continued and then unlocked the door. It did that several times. I have no idea what is going on, but after a few hours it finally stopped and seems to be working okay.

The beeping is probably the low battery warning. The Bauer lock will give a low battery warning beep...

No, I know what the low battery signal is like. Very loud and chirps rapidly about 5 times when locking & unlocking if batter is low. This was definitely not the low battery signal. This beep was so low I had to search around for it. Took me several minutes to find out it was emanating from the lock.

I've never used my key...use the fob most of the time, or just enter my code on the key pad....

I have the RV lock, it was very to install and usually works great, but once in a while it doesn’t work so I never leave my rig without the key which kind of defeats the whole idea.

Honestly, they're junk. I had one on mine and replaced it with a regular old latch and key. Save your money.

We've had the RVLock for maybe 5 years now. No problems at all other than had to change battery last June. Our Son's Lance came from factory with the RVLock & he is happy with it.
I did have to slightly enlarge the opening when I installed it.

I like it, specially since Jayco uses them and having it keyed to your locks is great

x3 on the Bauer, keyed alike was the deciding factor for me.

Look up Bauer on Facebook and follow them, they post some deals from time to time. Got mine with a 25% discount this spring direct from Bauer.

(Also sprung for keyed alike padlocks for the LP tanks)

I thought about locking my propane tanks then determined the negative effects and why that option does not come from the factory.. If you have a propane leak or a stove fire you want quick access for yourself or anyone else to turn off the valves. The only time i would consider locking the tanks is during storage and when tank valves are closed. Also, last summer i got scolded by my RV Service department tech for having a DC Fuse installed in one of my tank compartments that i installed for my Flow Jet feed line. His point was, if there was a leak, the electrical connection could spark a propane fire. I ended up moving the fuse to be safe,.

These are padlocks that secure the bands that hold the tanks. Compartment, valves, etc are still fully accessible.

Direct from Bauer website. Keyed like the rest of the Bauer locks.

i found them,, Unless i'm missing something, i don't see how they will work with the metal strap/clamp that secures vertical tanks inside compartments. I can see how they work with the top mount clamps.
