King Bed

Does anyone know if the 2022 North Point 310RLTS King bed is a full king? We are buying one with the king bed option and picking it up on Wednesday. The wife is wanting to get sheets this weekend and want to make sure we get the right size.

Thanks

Most of them are standard size King mattresses 72X80 due to the width of the RV or compartment and probably one you will want to change out as they are not all that great quality wise or comfort wise...however, the spec sheet when you choose that option off the Jayco web page shows 72X80....or
best to ask your dealer that you purchased it through as Jayco will probably be able to confirm that through them...

We use regular king sheets on ours. The fitted sheet will take care of any small difference.

Be aware however that a 72"x80" bed is not a "standard king bed". It is a narrow king size bed. You will have extra bottom fitted sheet using king sized sheets. We ordered a Brooklyn Beds Signature Hybrid last night (>$1000) as my wife laid on the king bed in our 2 day old Eagle HT 28.5RSTS and said "Nope".

Early on, we invested in a Sleep Number King mattress. The oe mattress is in the attic rolled up in a large bag, awaiting it's next owner!

Ours has the Serta king mattress. How’s the comfort and quality? Our last RV’s mattress sucked. We bought a memory foam topper and it made it much better. I was hoping since it is a Serta this one might better.

We both sleep very well, having said that, my bride has a finicky hip that tends to give her issues at times. At home we ended up buying a 8K mattress that finally made her happy. She already mentioned yesterday getting a topper as you suggested, although we are not sure if it is the mattress or her hip acting up. She does sleep very well on it though, and our 2 Toy Poodles also agree

Jayco Northpoint King Bed option

I recently purchased a 2019 Northpoint 387RDFS which has a queen bed. Has anyone taken the queen out and replaced with a king? Reason being is I am having difficulty figuring out how the side shelves on the headboard come off. Does anyone have ideas?

Thanks
Mike
