Kitchen or Bathroom

Can anyone tell me if Gray 1 is for the Kitchen sink or bathroom? We own a 2019 North Point 315 RLTS fifth wheel.

According to the specs for that year and model, it says there is only one grey tank, so prob kitchen and bath dump into same tank...?? how many dump valves do you have?
Our 383FKWS as two grey tanks the kitchen is #1 and bath is #2, and the dump valves are a good distance apart, so easy to tell there are two separate tanks.

It has two tanks 50 & 37 and the 37 is probably for the washer. So tank 1 would be the kitchen and bath combined.

We actually have two levers one for gray tank 1 and one for gray tank 2.They were both frozen shut. We were able to unfreeze gray tank 1. Until repair man comes to our RV, we weren’t sure if we could use the shower/bathroom sink or kitchen sink. Thanks for your input.

#1 is probably the bathroom and #2 is the kitchen. If you got #1 to open, just pour water down your bathroom sink and see if it comes out.........easy peezie.

Patti - Once you get your valve issue settled, I'll offer you an option I read here last year and it requires 4 valves to work.

Gray Tank 1/Bathroom (50 gallons), Gray Tank 2/Galley (30 gallons) - you fill up one and you've got to dump it or quit using water. Regarding the 4 valves (Final, Black, Gray1, Gray2) - Always, Always, Always make sure the Black tank valve is CLOSED until you're ready to dump it. Now that we're sure it's closed, make sure the final (typically add-on) valve is closed. This is the valve that keeps you from getting funky water on your hands when you pull the cap off to drain stuff. Now that both the Black and Final valves are closed, open BOTH gray valves. They will effectively "share" the space between them and allow for more use before you dump.

Now if you're running full hookups at a campsite, this is all null and void (except Black). If you're dry camping, your only limitation is your fresh water tank or whatever water you bring with you. Keep in mind that 1 gallon of water = 8lbs. So 80 gallons = 640lbs of water you lug around until you dump it. I think at the end of the day, this option allows you a little more time before having to dump the gray tanks.

That’s what we thought too, I ran the shower for a minute, no water. I ran the kitchen sink faucet no water. I’m afraid to over fill #2. Still waiting for the technician from Jayco to come. Appreciate your time and thoughts.

Thanks for your input. We are wintering in Florida at a RV park. The camper stays here in storage when not in use.
