Kitchen power vent

We are the new owners of a 2011 Pinnacle 36REQS. Befuddled as to how the power vent over the kitchen works? Can't reach it without a ladder and haven't located a remote or switch. Owners manual has no helpful information. Is this set up to use some kind of thermostat set up at the fan?

First welcome from Northern California! I own a baby TT ( travel trailer ) so I’m falling back on what my Dad taught me, go for the stupid stuff first. Are you sure you have a power vent? If not look at the vent from the outside,if you see two tabs ( or where tabs may have been) it maybe a manual vent. I would also pull the filter and look up in the fan area for a pivot shaft and/or wires. Folks this is the best I can do! I am willing to bet a cheap lunch that someone that owns a pinnacle can be more help than me.

Our 5th has a similar sounding vent. Ours is controlled by a thermostat in our kitchen area. It’s an “old-school” thermo, select the temp via the sliding lever. Odd thing is that it seems to be intended to control a furnace, ON when the inside temp is below the selected temp and OFF in the reverse condition. A simple on/off switch would make more sense but we seldom use it and just deal with the goofy thermo.
Check around for an “extra” thermo. One of our AC thermo’s controls an AC and the furnace and the fan is controlled by the extra thermo.
