Kitchen sink draining very slowly

Just purchased an Eagle 360QBOK fifth wheel - we're literally putting it through "sea trials" at our local campground. We've found that the kitchen sink (and the rear powder room sink) aren't draining or drain very slowly... Any thoughts? Does anyone know where it drains to (front or rear gray tank??)??

Otherwise love the coach!!! Safe travels to you all.

I hope you found an answer to your problem. I am looking at the same 5th wheel, could you post your pin weight and trailer weight from the stick on the trailer? I have read the brochure weight can be off a lot.

I'm heading to pick up the trailer from the dealer, I'll have something to report in a little while I guess!?

Make sure the vents are working properly. Without venting, the water will take a long time to drain. Kinda the same reason mom used to punch two holes in a juice can.

What TWP said. Venting is key in having water flow to the tank. Depending on your layout you could have a stack vent, through the roof or an air admittance vent with a one way valve.

Look under your cabinet for a "sweep T fitting" which should have the air admittance valve mounted to it.

The last option and one that is commonly used on the outdoor kitchens is a "grate seal", one way valve due to no p-trap for gasses. If you have these in your unit on the drains then these are very slow. Might be a new thing Jayco is going to in plumbing. See if you have a P-trap under the suspect sinks. If not then you most likely have this type setup.

My bathroom sink was stopped up. Checked p trap but was OK. Used a plunger for 10 seconds and heard a noise near the vent stack. All is well now.

Thanks

Got it back from the dealer and they found some debris in the line. All good to go, I hope! Thank for all the advice.

Sounds like the factory or PDI guys just put it all down the drain, literally. Glad it's fixed for you.
