1) Do you drop the feet on your front landing gear when disconnecting?

2) Do your RV wheels lift off the ground?

3) Have you lubed the tracks and motor area with PTFE lube?

RV Force in Harlingen Texas talked of Positive Frame Camber. This will cause undo stress on the Kitchen slide. The tripod (we have the washer/dryer) I use caused me to drop the front landing gear feet to the ground. The tripod lower center support would not spread the legs enough. This although not always would cause a wheel or two to lift off the ground when auto leveling. Soon my kitchen slide started to make the similar noise and then it would not fully extend at the TV side I had to manually bump it). I changed the tripod and never lower the feet on the front landing gear. After 4-5 camps my slide works!! The PTFE by Hetford is listed as a required lube for Swinteck and Slim Track slides. Stinks but it worked for me...

I Had a bad experience with slide seals. Totally my fault in that I never knew about maintenance nor swept the tops of the sliders. (Newby, but who knew).

Now I'm a bit of crazy in my new NP. So I do maintenance to seals and tracks/motors every three months. When doing seals I just spray with my hand guiding the rubber seal so they get a good coating. And, yes I'm a full timer so we do the Rio Grand Valley fin Texas for the winter.
