Kitchen slide issue

HELP! We went to pull in our slides today to move. Kitchen slide nada, nothing. Dead. No sound, no motor whirring. checked fuse box. Fuse is Ok. Called Jayco. They tried to tell us where to locate the slide module to do some kind of reset. They said it's in the half bath cabinet above the sink. Supposed to be an access panel. There is no access panel above the sink in the upper cabinet. Waiting for repair guy to MAYBE come out tomorrow. Does anybody know where the access panel for the kitchen slide is? We have a Pinnacle 2019 36FBTS.

Assuming the other slides work and you are still plugged into shore power and the kitchen slide is not doing anything it sounds like a power issue or perhaps a reset may fix it.

If you are not plugged into shore power, I'd do that to ensure you the motor has enough juice.

Below is a link for the manual. Slide troubleshooting starting p65.

https://www.jayco.com/files/download...lor%20RevA.pdf

If you can't find the access panel to the control unit, perhaps if you unplugged from shore and used battery disconnect switch to turn off all power to the RV for a minute it may reset?

The slide control box is likely on the ceiling of the pass through on the driver side.

Thank you. We will try the reset that way. Nobody seems to know where the slide out module is!

Our kitchen slide controller is in the pass thru...drivers side...but pretty much behind the water center in the ceiling between the aluminum rafters....might have to take down back panel to access it........we had similar problem in bedroom...but it came unplugged....so easy fix after we found that...

We took the panel off and did not find any other slide module box controllers on the ceiling.
Thank you for trying to help!

We tried disconnecting the battery and power and resetting it, but that didn't work. Thank you for that idea, though.

What does PITA mean? We see nothing inside the bath cabinet. Thank you if you would clarify.

I got a call from camping world wanting to know when I wanted to buy a pinnacle after downloading the manual from jayco

Have to wonder how much they save buy not moving these things a few feet to make them more accessible.

Were you able to reset the controller and did it fix the issue?

The controller is installed upside down at the very top of the bottom cabinet corner and this 71 year old can’t see with bifocals where the tiny little button compartment is on the controller. We are going to have to try to find someone with younger eyes and more agility to get at the controller. I’m thinking if only the controller could be pulled out a little so we could try the reset! Thank you for asking!

The controller is mounted with a couple of screws one on each end. Had to pull ours down to read the error code.
Much easier to see if you pull them down to work with. There is likely enough wire slack to get it down into bifocal distance.

You might try turning your bifocals upside down
Been there done it
