Large Slide Motor for 2009 Jayco Designer

I have a 2009 34RLQS Designer. I believe the brake on the Large (curb side) slide motor is not functioning properly allowing the slide to migrate out about two inches. I do not believe just the brake is replaceable, and will probably require a new motor. Am I right than you cannot replace just the brake. Does anyone know the make and model number (size) of the motor for this slide? Thanks in advance.

My big slide was a Venture brand. Look them up as you can buy direct from them. I think it was $485 incl. shipping.
I talked to both my dealer & Jayco and got 2 different pn's which neither were rhe motor on the rv

I would tend to agree...., and it's possible the internal motor drive gears are stripped. I would access the motor/brake assembly and confirm the brand/model info off the motor housing...., because there have been different models utilized my Jayco.

I assume you have an electric (not hydraulic) through-the-frame slide. Have you confirmed that all the associated slide components are intact and not compromised (spur gear, gear rail, weldments, etc..)??
