LCI remote

My hand held remote for the automatic leveling system powers down immediately after I turn it on. I contacted LCI directly and the only response I received so for is that the battery is not replaceable and is dead. LCI suggested I replace it. I am waiting on a follow up with them but thought I would ask if anyone has had the same issue with the Factory Hand held remote. I can’t see building a remote without being able to replace the battery or at least the ability to charge it. Replacement looks to be north of 100 bucks and it’s about 2 years old.
Any input would be appreciated.

Odd we have never used ours - just left it hanging on the wall. DW was looking at ours the other day, playing around with it & it can be charged. Luckily we have extra chargers from "old" cell phones.

I think it has screws on the back. I would take it apart and see?? If you are still under warranty, call Jayco

Is that a charge port on the bottom?

I had no idea. Was never told when we bought the thing from the dealer. Just went through some “junk” drawers and found a matching plug (why can’t they make them all the same) and wouldn’t you know, the things takin a charge.
Wahoo!!

Should of been a charger for it in your Jayco bag.

We didn't get a charger with ours. Had to request one from Jayco (or LCI). They sent one and included a new remote. Now we have two remotes and one charger. Out of the collection of chargers we have, we didn't have one to fit. I agree it would be nice if they all had the same adapters.

Our trailer's remote was missing the charger and cable, too. Discovered a standard, mini-Motorola USB charger cable/connector fits and charges the LCI remote just fine.

Our North Point didn't come with a LCI remote, but I do have the app on my cell phone which is just like having a remote........works real good for the awnings, levelers, slides and interior and exterior lights.
