LED Ceiling Fixtures

Can the bulbs in the ceiling lights be replaced or do you need to replace the entire fixture and does anyone have the part number for those fixtures?

The round and relatively flat ones? Those are built in Leds. The leds are right on the board. I replaced the ones in my last RV for ones with a switch in the middle.

Loose one already?

Sorry no part number.

If they are the flat ones, you will need to replace the light. You can get them on Ebay or Amazon pretty cheap. They have spring loaded arms holding the in, just pull down on the light and watch your fingers. The are like a mouse trap!

No, didn't loose one but the LED's seem to be around 2500k to 3000k. I really prefer 5000k. Much rather the daylight affect as opposed to the warm light.

Found these on Amazon. They are 5500k to 6000k. Think I will try them out.

That is actually the same brand I bought. I would go with 5500K if you can. Actually 4000-4500K would be my preference (it is down to preference). The 6000K would be to white for a comfortable area.

Just my 2cents.

Just got home, these are the ones I ordered and have left over. The PN has a CW in it so I assume these are cool white. I like how they looked so you should be fine with the cool white version.

Al,

Are they warmer than the ones in your North Point were? Just curious as I prefer the warmer color temp. At least in some spots, like above the bed.

Dave, yes they are much warmer. My North Point were more of a white light. My Pinnacle LED's have more of an orange color. Probably will end up replacing all of them if I like the ones I ordered.

Our “older” 5th had all incandescent bulbs. I have 16 fixtures similar to those that had halogen bulbs (20W 350 lumens) and they were HOT. I found led replacements that had similar brightness and are 2500-3000K. They’ve worked great until our last trip when I had 5 fail in a 6 week period. After 5-ish years it’s odd to have a cluster of failures.
My replacements are bulb replacements similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I hadn’t found a fixture replacement like the above and if my replacements continue to fail I will give these a try when my spares are gone.

I did the upgrade using a fixture from Etrailer. They were just a tad over $7 ea & I had tried a led replacement for the incandescents

my 16 greyhawk has 3 different sized in led ceiling pucks apparently, 4.5" throughout the main portion of coach, 3" ones under the cabinets over dinette and sofa, and 4-4.25" in the lav
the ones in the lav aren't as 'warm' as the rest of them in the coach so I'm wondering if they've already been replaced and that's why they're an odd size

I'd like to swap them all out with daylight leds
