Lemon???

I bought my 2015 Premier in July 2015. Every time we camp there's another problem. From the electronic jacks being damaged to the front grey tank bracket bending and dropping the tank out of the drain spout its something every time we go out. Plus all the little things that need repaired. Dealer has been helpful but it's 6 hours of driving every time I need warranty. Anyone had any experience with the lemon laws on RV's?

Lemon laws vary by state. You need to see what they are in your state.

Yep, that's what I've been told. Also heard some restrict them to motorized units only. Someone also told me there is a lemon law at the federal level which includes all types. I did have a neighbor at the campground this past winter who was going to court over a chronic issue that wasn't resolved after many attempts. Haven't heard the outcome yet. I realize taking a unit back and forth to the dealer for warranty repairs may be a burden. Sometimes it may be necessary to get all the bugs out. Have you tried locating someone closer than 6 hours away authorized to do Jayco warranty repair work?

It usually takes numerous repeat repairs for the "exact same problem" to fall under most lemon laws..

From my understanding lemon laws are for motorized vehicles, not towables. You can call Jayco and ask that the warranty work be done closer to home. They will sometimes even allow you have someone come to you for work to be done. This is direct from the warranty department at Jayco. Be sure you have a list of what you have had repaired, or attempted to have repaired when you speak to them. We are full-timers and had our unit in for warranty work for non working fireplace, leaking slide (three times), leaking back window, roof, front cap fading, front cap leaking, door lock not working, etc. We had work done in Washington state and also Oklahoma. Oh, we also had to replace our Tow Master tires as one separated which we caught and one blew that we did not catch. (Had to have the lower side of the slide replaced (not a difficult job after all). So, we spent two years between Washington and Oklahoma having work done and was not able to get to where we really wanted to be. Now, we have it all fixed (I hope) and ready to travel more places as we want to do. Jayco did take care of all issues as we presented to them. By the way, we had a horrible dealer service manager and finally went elsewhere with help from Jayco.
