Lemon Frigidaire in 2016 Jayce Pinnacle

Hi All:
Have a problem with the Frigidaire residential refrigerator in our Jayco 2016 Pinnacle FBTS. After two different assessments of the problem with the frig, long story short, it has to be replaced. What a lemon. Leak in the coolant somewhere in the walls of the frig. Of course it takes two people to remove it. We are replacing it with a smaller Whirlpool that we can get through the door. We are going to saw through the old one of we can't get it through the door. Have removed everything from it including doors. Of course no info on water lines and electric connection in any of the info on the frig that came with the camper or the Jayco owner's manual. Of course no help from Jayco or Frigidaire. Warranty long expired. Naturally. Any similar issues with folks in the forum? And don't get me started on the crappy Schwintek slides. What idiot would put a frig, stove, fireplace and elevator in one slide with two motors that constantly get off track. Had those repaired 3 separate times. Our 2001 Jayco Designer 36FBTS NEVER GAVE US ANY PROBLEMS. We traded it in for the 2016 because of the bath and a half. Big mistake.

Your refrigerator water line is exactly like the one in a house.

Your refrigerator electric is plugged into an outlet just like your house.

Take 2x4's on edge, put 1/2" plywood on them next to refrigerator. You can now roll refrigerator out at an angle.

( I had my refrigerator out 6 times before replacing entire unit.)

Your refrigerator WILL go thru your entry door with the doors removed. New refrigerator installed same way in reverse order.

Let me know if you have any questions.......

BTW.......there are 2 screws in the bottom of refrigerator that have to be removed. Also screws on top of refrigerator, then it comes right out.

Thanks for your response. Can't get to the lines or electrical plug until we pull the frog completely away from the wall. Tight squeeze. We removed the screws and doors. Tomorrow the frog will be pulled out. Glad to hear it will fit through the door.

Yes with great difficulty. Had to remove the door and door frame, then had 3 men lift it over the island. The new one is only 13.1 cubic feet. Hopefully less weight on the slide which is problematic. Thanks for asking.
