leveling issues with our Eagle LCI leveling system

We have a 2018 Jayco Eagle 321 RSTS that we have taken out twice. When hooking up on Friday the leveling system would not return to hitch height position. It raised the rear jacks and started to extend the front jacks then stopped and a red light flashed on the control pad. I reset the error on my phone app and pushed the extend arrow and after it raised the camper a little it tripped out again. After 4 or 5 trys it finally raised it enough to allow me to hook up. This happened again today when trying to hook up to leave the campground. Its like there is a reset able breaker that is tripping. If that is the case where would it be?

I had a very similar instance with my 2019. Mine was the result of me working the system pretty hard in manual, and then not following the reset procedure correctly. I had to hook up to the truck and retract all. I know you nearly couldn’t do that, but you can do it onto the ground too if there’s no obstacles. I found this out a few days when I hit the wrong button and walked away. Anyway, after the retract all, it was good. Also, I used the touch inside to reset instead of the phone. Not sure if it made a difference, but I find if my screen times out and go’s dark on my phone, the operation comes to a standstill.

Yes! Took me a few times before I realized why it stopped operating. I try to keep the screen on when using the phone, or just use the touch pad or tablet inside.

Hitch Height will only work if the front is above level when unhitching.

I was using the touch pad to operate the leveling system. I only used the phone app to reset the fault. Its like it tripps a self resetting breaker then resets and I clear the fault.
