Leveling sensors?

My autolevel 3.0 is saying level, but my old fashioned level (and inner ear) beg to differ.

There’s two tilt sensors on the frame somewhere that I can adjust, right? Where are they located, what do they look like, and what’s the calibration procedure?

Go online and down load the LCI manual. It will explain how to level out the camper and reset it from your touch screen in the camper.

You may just have to re-zero from the touch screen. It’s found in the manual portion of the levelling function.

We have 2014 Eagle Premier. After setup then few days of settling, can I hit the auto level again to relevel?

Not sure if the level system on yours is the same but on our 2017 I could and did auto level again after a day or two. Worked fine. It may mess with the auto reconnect feature though but mine alway needed some manual adjustment to re-hitch anyway.

Where do you place the bubble level?

Depending on your F/W, I put a 4 foot level just in front of my frig next to my center island.

You shouldn't need to access the sensor unless it came loose. Usually when that happens the center jacks won't go down. It is normally attached to the unit centered behind the rear axle.

I was able to access the Zero-point reset via my Onecontrol app. I manually set level, which resulted in over a degree off front to rear and almost half a degree side to side according to the app display. I then did the reset and then hit auto level and now all is good.

Are these brains known for sporadically losing their zero-point? Haven’t moved since March, but it was working fine on my 2000 mile trip to Florida and when I parked her at my seasonal site. Been on shore power the whole time, 13.2v on the battery charger.

Or maybe one of my sensors is loose?

You can, absolutely. Just remember to loosen any stabilizer bars you may have between the frame and the landing pads before initializing the auto level..

I’ve only had to re-level one time. I arrived at a Virginia state park late one evening where the sites were all grass and it was absolutely bucketing down rain and continued to do so for the next day. When the weather cleared and things started to dry out, my rig had settled in front just a hair so I just loosened my SteadyFast braces and re-did the auto level. No problems. Had it been more than the proverbial “hair” I would probably have pulled the slides in.

In our case, we had already determined that the kitchen island is level with the floor, so I can confidently put a level there where it's easy. Then it's within sight of standing at the touch screen in case I get an "out-of-stroke" and wish to manually level. Yes, it's true that the system reads the RV's level sensor when manually leveling, but I like to have the 2nd opinion.

Zero point reset can be easily redone via the app (I actually have OneControl). Used my bubble level to manually set level, measuring laterally and longitudinally front to rear, and then hit the zero point reset button. Voila, all good now.

Wonder why it suddenly lost its reference...
