Lifted truck

I'm looking at a new 2018 GMC 2500 HD, it has a 3", can anyone see a problem with this towing a "08 Designer 36 ft?
Also, has anyone replaced the brakes with disc brakes, do you just replace the whole hub assembly or is there more to it?

Probably.

Measure the distance from bed rail to ground. Mine is 58 or 59 inches. My trailer rides about 6" nose high which I consider a bit too much. I plan on fixing it by various means.

If you have another 3" on top of that then you will probably need to do something with the trailer.

Here is a link to etrailer where the same question about brakes was asked and they spell out and price everything needed, looks pricey for a tandem.

New trucks are so tall to begin with I'd be hesitant looking at a lifted truck for a 5er, especially an older model that likely sits a bit lower than the newer models.

I was wondering about raising the rear of the trailer?

I would start by taking some measurements from the trailer, then see how those line up with the truck you are looking at, you may have to have the trailer way to nose high to clear the truck bed.

That 3" will definitely be a problem.

Maybe you can try before you buy.

I had a 2008 Eagle it had adjustments for the suspension.

This is it on a stock 2017 F350
