Suspect when the panel is produced the lettering on it is clear for the different switches. The white paint on the back is what gives the lettering a white appearance. Ever get bored you could scrape it off and put glow in the dark

Put a led strip behind the panel. Bet the lettering would illuminate and it would be a soft light as opposed to a harsh light if the strip was outside the panel.
I have some short strips. Will do that with one this weekend to see if it works

The part number you are looking for is LRA511-CR-B/018V. Mouser Electronics has them in stock. Here is the link where you can by them:
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...g-Technologies

Once you have that part number you can find it cheaper.
Thanks for that info. Last year my water heater switch light went out. Tried several replacements and all would blow my 12v fuse. Had to go to a dealer to get the correct switch from Jayco. Just ordered two spares using the part number u posted.

I used to resell switches from Delcity.com. Good prices and large assortment.

That is a great idea, nothing more frustrating then walking into the camper after dark, opening the panel and you can’t see any of the switches.

Thanks bill3kirk! I’ve been looking for these for a while since the water pump and water lights both are inop, although switch still works.
Tried the amazon switches mentioned and they are not the correct type.

I picked up a 12v LED light strip from Lowe’s meant for stair riser lighting. I mounted it behind the panel. I wired up a small switch on the panel and we keep the backlight on while we’re staying in the coach. Works great and the Jayco Eagle logo lights up as well now. It should have come this was from the factory.

Can you remove a switch from the control panel without taking the panel out?
