lighting up control pannel

has any body installed a light behind there lighting control panel hard to see at night when you come in to turn on lights and if so were did you get power for it

Yes...see the Mods to 377 thread. There’s a sticky that has an index of all the mods. In it you can go directly to the backlight panel mod.

Another option, all you have to do is open the panel door to activate. I’ve been sticking these things all over the place in the coach. 6 months later and I still haven’t had to recharge them.

I used two 12 volt LED strips that I got from the auto section of Walmart. They had double faced tape that I stuck to the edges of the opening after pulling the panel off. I didn’t want risk confusing anyone with a mislabeled switch so I just mounted a toggle on the top. Click image for larger version

Where did you get the power from? Also if I understand correctly by lighting up from the sides give you the backlight of the panel?

I spliced into the power/ground feeds for one of the switches in the panel. They are all daisy chained together behind the panel.

Yes. The panel is black and there is whitish blue paint on the back where the writing is. Putting a light behind it makes it look my picture.
