Lippert awning

I have a 310rlts. My awning will retract but will not extend. The motor is good. No pinched wires. Looking for a little advice

I'm thinking switch. The motor either works or it don't. In this case, it works. So switch sounds probable.

Our '21 Pinnacle had a similar issue on our second outing. It had been retracted for a few weeks. When we arrived at Myrtle beach, it would not extend or make any noise at all. the second awning was fine. Called the dealer and he had me check fuses, including one behind the panel in the pass-through storage. Finally got tired of messing with it, unhappy as it was a brand-new camper. My wife looked through the KOA booklet they gave us when checking in, and in great big letters was an ad for the "awning man". They were there in 10 minutes, and within a few more with a ladder he found it had come unconnected from the plug. He blamed it on Jayco, said they had not allowed enough cable slack to the plug. The moral of the story was $280. $125, I think, was for the house call, and the rest for however little time they spent there. Dealer was 350+ miles way, so we had our awning back. He had me run it in and out a few times from the wall panel and the App.

Awning not extending

Did you ever find a fix for awning not extending but will retract ?
My 2021 Jayco Eagle 319 MLOK is doing same thing.

I have a 2020 317RLOK that has the same issue. Dealer found that the BM Pro Node in the basement is bad. They said mine was the fifth one they have seen with this issue. Parts have to come from Australia so no telling how long it will take. The temp fox I use, I swap the wires on the node for awning one because that one still works fine to extend awning two. It’s a pain but at least I can use my second awning when needed.

I wound up ordering a manual awning switch from lippert and mounting in basement storage compartment near the node. Picked up awning 1 wires and 12 volt power source from node (added 15 amp fuse after tapping power source) now I can operate awning from basement storage compartment.
Not sure I want the dealer changing the node out for this, might lead to other problems

If you don’t mind answering a question, where did you tap off of for the 12v power? I am going to do this as well while I wait for the replacement node to come in.

There are two 12 volt feeds on bottom left corner of the node If I remember right the green wire has a fuse holder with a 40 amp fuse in it I tapped that wire by skinning the insulation back used a second fuse holder wrapped the wire around bare copper wire that I skinned and solder it than insulated the tap.
Installed 15 amp fuse ran feed to awning switch works fine.
