Would not count on any service bulletin from Jayco! That would be like they admitted there is a problem. Thanks

Actually just got off the phone with customer service at Jayco and she said they are very familiar with the problem. Told me to contact my dealer and tell them to replace my dimmer switch with one that has a noise filter on it. She said they probably have them in stock since it is a well known problem. WOW!, hard to believe she was that forthcoming but I do appreciate it.

I'm an electrician and have installed several high quality dimmers for the LED fixtures in my Jayco Precept. For those wanting to install dimmers in place of switches in your RV you need to know they do not wire like a "normal" incandescent dimmer you have in your home. They require a dedicated - (negitive) wire going to the lamps to be dimmed. I have had to do quite a bit of wire fishing in order to supply my LEDs with a dedicated nega tive wire from the lamps to the dimmer.

Today I got around to looking at my light switch by the door in my 29.5BHOK. I have the light flicker issue when the furnace turns on. I had a spare dimmer switch I purchased off Amazon last year, I figured might as well change it out just to try it. No more flicker when the furnace turns on. The switches look exactly the same on the outside, inside there are a few little differences as you can see in the picture. The old one was rated for 40 Watts Max and the new one is rated at 50 Watts Max.
Sorry pictures are sideways I don't know how to change that, they are right on my computer.
In the pic with both switches, the new one is on the bottom.

This is the switch in my order history but it says it is rated at 60 Watts Max. Either they are wrong or they updated something since I purchased it.

Jayco is aware of the issue. My dealer replaced the switch and installed a filter.

I know they are aware of it but I would rather work on the small stuff myself.

I have a 2007 30.5BHS and after the front 12V LEDs are on for a while they begin to blink. Haven't found the problem yet.

I have a 2018 Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS. I have the same issue as described in this thread. At the moment my ignitor on furnace goes off there is a flash from my LED lights that are in a dimmer switch. I will contact my dealer next week to see about getting a filter installed and report back.

We are having the same problem with our 321RSTS. It was one of many things that we took it to the dealer for. They said they couldn't get it to do it. We just got back from a week long camping trip and I turned the furnace on and off and it still does it although not as bad. We can see ours in the daytime or at night. May call Jayco. Note: We didn't need the furnace on this trip but I wanted to test it so it wasn't running constantly. When we originally noticed the problem it was running to keep the camper warm.

Contacted dealer on flickering lights
I just got off the phone with my dealer and told him about what I have read here. He was not aware of the fix but said he would order the new dimmer with the filter.
Thank you for your help on this issue.

Dropped off my rig at the dealer a few weeks ago to get this (and many other) issues taken care of while it’s still under warranty. The service rep was unaware of the issue but luckily I had captured it on video and had proof to show him. We’ll see if it gets fixed.

This might or might not help, but check to be sure you have a good ground between the batery and the frame. Make sure there is a good ground in all of the trailer. Who knows it may cure it.

Flickering lights
I am still waiting on my appointment date to get the new dimmer switch with filter put in. One thing I did notice is that the more the furnace cut on and off the worse the flickering got.

2018 RSTS same light issue
On our first trip beyond the backyard and noticed the quick flash LED ceiling lights when the furnace kicked on. Anyone get a definitive answer on this yet🤔

Jayco is aware of the problem and they fixed mine at the dealer under warranty. If yours is in warranty your good. If not it is not an expensive fix. If you go through this thread you will see how it can be fixed. Happy camping, God Bless.

TnHiker was right on! Found a 50 ohm noise cancelling dimmer on line and it got home before we did. Cost $16 and about 20 minutes fishing the wires out and back in the little hole. Problem solved! Thanks Hiker!

My dealer tried this. Yes, it stops the flicker. No, it does not stop the thermostat from a power drop. Their second attempt to make the digital thermostat work succeeded, by removing the furnace and thermostat from the lights.
