Location of Schwintek slide controller for Jayco 24.5 ckts fifth wheel?

Our 2018 Jayco 24.5 ckts fifth wheel has three Schwintek slides. Does anyone know where the slide controllers with the manual override switches might be located? Can't find them and it is frustrating to say the least. Thanks!

The ones for our Pinnacle were on the ceiling of the basement storage compartment.

Same on our 2017 Eagle 321rsts. Drivers side ceiling in basement above the 12volt disconnect. Gotta be double neck jointed to read the controller. Easier to unscrew from ceiling to do resets if needed

Here is ours. Disconnected from the ceiling where it was located right above my hand on the ceiling above that corner of the wall, almost invisible and inaccessible. Ours was never involved with the few slide problems we have had, but we keep it loose anyway and it now lives in that top shelf to the right.
I should add that this Location is same as others said- front driver side basement ceiling.
Picture is sideways and top is to the left

Thanks to all...No joy though

I looked all the places folks mentioned. Can't find it. But I appreciate all the help. I have a call into Jayco. It is still under warranty.

I'm afraid that when I called Jayco about this last summer, they were not able to give me an accurate location. It took a knowledgeable local RV tech. At least Jayco offered to pay the labor part of that bill.
Good luck and sorry this was not more helpful. Likely someone here will be able to help more.

Monheganlover, we had a 2017 27.5RKDS with one Schwintek slide. The controller was behind the battery disconnect switch in the basement drivers side. Actually had to take the basement wall out in order to see the controller.

Thanks! That is the one place, inside the camper and in all the storage units, we haven't looked since we would have to do some disassembly to get to it.

I have the 2017 24.5 CKTS and I found my controllers behind a panel inside the basement access on the drivers side. The controllers are behind a wall panel approximately behind the battery box. There are a few screws to be removed but not at huge effort. There are gaps between the top of the wall panel and the ceiling of the basement so you can use a small mirror to look over the panel and locate the controllers so you know which panel to remove.

Thanks OtterComet! Yes, I believe you are right. I honestly can't think of where else they could be. Since you have the same model, I bet you are right. On my unit, the panel goes not have a gap at the top but I am going to remove the panel and see what I can find. Thanks!

Found the controllers

Thanks to the great responses to my initial post, I located two Lippert slide controllers behind the battery disconnect panel on the driver's side of the basement storage area on my 2018 Eagle HT 24.5 CKTS fifth wheel. There are two of them as shown in the attached picture (the photo is inverted). The question I have now is could one of them control two slides? The fifth wheel has a kitchen, bedroom, and dining area slide but I only seem to have two controllers.

You likely have a flat floor slide in the living room. They use a rack and pinion mechanism metal Tubes under slide. Slide drops down when fully extended. Sits on top of floor when retracked. No controller for these. Its a basic motor on a rack. Motor has a ratchet clutch on it.

I just purchased a 2019 24.5CKTS, and I have been going through the trailer trying to learn where everything is located. I have been looking for the slide controllers, and I have not found them yet. Before we purchased this unit, I looked at 2017 24.5CKTS. The slide controllers on the 2017 were in plain view on the ceiling in the drivers side basement compartment.

I will look for them behind the battery disconnect panel.

For some reason, the control cable for these are very short, usually 3' or less; look under shelves, in storage compartments (outside), etc..They are sometimes attached to the underside of shelves so you don't notice if just causally looking

I did find the two Lippert Schwintek slide controllers today. Along with the S.M.A.R.T trailer light controller, and a system diagram of 12V battery wiring. All behind the 12V Kill Switch panel.
