Lost Keys

I cannot believe it but we lost one of our sets of Keys to our Pinnacle yesterday.

Been racking my Pea Sized Brain to figure our how we lost them.
Only thing I can figure is since we made several stops yesterday on our travels heading west to Texas, must have dropped them and did not realize it.

Now my question, do we have to go to Jayco to get replacement keys or can a local key shop make duplicate keys from our second set of keys?

I would also get a local locksmith.

We keep spare set in the TV.

Most of the bigger Jayco dealers should also have blanks and be able to make them for you. I went ahead and made several extra sets since they are pretty cheap.

Since we are on the move and only staying about a week at each location I was hoping to get the keys made local when we arrive in Montgomery TX.

When I find someone to make some keys I will get several sets made.

Just cannot believe I lost a set of keys :dunce:

I lost the set of keys to our trailer a week after we bought it as well. I couldn't believe that would happen so soon. With the old trailer I would send one of the kids thru the storage door to unlock the trailer from the inside but with our Jayco that's not possible, which I'm thankful for.

I started worrying about that when we got ours. The storage keys are easy to find - think I picked some up on ebay. I don't recall where I got the door and bunk keys, probably ebay as well. get the number off the key and search ebay and the interweb. I've got several spares now. I've thought about hiding a storage key in a magnet box on the frame and door keys someplace in the storage area but haven't yet. The bride and I try to each have a set on us when we travel.
Also, our keys don't seem to be very unique. If you are in a park, ask to borrow keys from other Jay owners
