Lost manual 2016 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS

Ok, have been searching for two months for my manual and now have to admit that I lost my manual. Went to the Jayco site and could not find a 2016 manual specific to my 2016 Eagle HT although they have manuals specific to many other models.

The only manual Jayco is showing on their website for the 2016 Eagle HT Fifth Wheel is titled 2016 EAGLE TRAVEL TRAILER AND FIFTH WHEEL. The publication number on this manual on the website is 0177622.2016 and is NOT the manual that came with my Fifth Wheel. In the above publication the plumbing section is completely different than mine. This manual shows a 2 valve system, 1 before the water pump and one after the water pump. I have a 4 valve system, two white valves before the water pump and 2 white valves after the water pump. My lost manual described all the settings for water siphon, anti-freeze siphon, and normal operation which I need.

I believe my manual was specific to 2016 Eagle HT models. I have spoken with Jayco Customer Service and they tell me the only manual they have is the one on the website described above.

So I need help. If anyone out there has a 2016 Eagle HT could you check your manual and give me the Title of the manual you have and the publication number on the front of the manual. Hopefully that Title and number will click with Jayco and maybe they will find a replacement manual for me. Thanks in advance.

My phone number is 859-250-0310 if easier for you to reply that way.

Andy

The manuals are pretty general to start with, unlike your truck or car owners manual. The 17 Eagle HT manual should tell you what you need to know. They often include things in the manuals that stretch across various units.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, however I have checked all the manuals 2014 through 2018 and none of them are the same manuals as mine. They all show 1 valve on each side of the water pump where as mine has 2 valves on each side of the water pump. I know this is not a bastardized system as my lost manual had a photo of my system and the settings for all 4 valves. I have a photo of my system but can not figure out how to get it in the post.

Interesting. I’m on my second Jayco FW and still no manual specific to my unit. Sure would be nice. Best of luck. Odd that is has four valves around the water pump. I’d hook it up to a water connection and start experimenting.

Strange; I went to the WayBack Machine...
https://archive.org/web/web.php
...and looked up an instance of the Jayco manuals page from October 2016 and even there, there is no version for the Eagle HT. Just the generic "TT and FW Eagle"

Good luck!

I looked in the plumbing section and it shows a 4 valve system. I looked at the online manual and it is different than what I see in mine .

So Hats Off to HankB11. I contacted him by private message and he sent me photos of the correct 4 valve plumbing section of the original manual that I needed.

It seems that Jayco, at some time during the 2016 production year for Eagle HT changed the plumbing at the water pump from a 4 valve system to a two valve system and changed the manual to reflect the 2 valve system. When Jayco did this they did not change the document number on the manual and they did not save the old manual, so the original manual for Eagle HT is not available on line or in house.

Any way I have my plumbing valve settings thanks to HankB11

It's great to hear he came through for your questions. Kudos to HankB11, and he gets a JOF Ataboy!
