Low point fixture drains inside coach????? What?

Hay Gang, What am I missing here? Why would the factory dead head low point drains inside of the coach? In my 30 years of rvs the drains were run out to the ground with a valve. Was it to force us into using antifreeze to winterize?

I have a 2017 25.5HT. The valves for the low point drains are located inside next to the water pump (diagram is in the manual). Lift up and 1/4 turn to open. Water in the system will run out of two tubes located under the rig.

OK the logic here: outside the RV they can freeze. Inside when heated they don't.
I moved mine inboard as they where outside for winter use.
