Main AC not cooling

Main ac in our north point does not seem to be cooling. Any ideas?

Running but not blowing cold, or not running at all?

Running but not blowing cold in the rig. Air coming out of the sides of the unit on the roof is cool.

Was it cooling and then stopped? If that is the case the coil may be frozen up if you are in a high humidity area.

I worked last Wednesday, has not been on since then until we turned it on today.

Can you hear the compressor come on when a/c is selected. It's going to make a humming noise. If you can't tell trying turning just the fan on low the select the a/c. Should be able to tell the difference if not inside definitely outside on the roof. What's the ambient temp? Our work just fine one and day and not the next. The a/c unit was bad.

If it's a Mach 8 Heat Pump they have been known to do that. The reversing valve sticks.
