Major bubble issues on decals.....

I have a 2008 eagle 31.5bhds, and i have around 30-50 bubbles all over in the decals. just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? and what was the problem? defective decals or adhesive? did jayco take care of the problem? they are anywhere from dime size up to a quarter size. does not look pretty!!!!

You can try puncturing a few of the bubbles with a pin and letting the air out and press them back down. I had a few small bubbles in mine and that worked, but they were not as big as you are describing. I heard about this method on RV.net. I wonder weather the issue is the decals or improper installation.

I have a 2011 321 rlts. Just went and checked on it yesterday at the storage. I noticed the same thing. Probably about 10 of those dime sized bubbles. Needless to say I was not too happy. Will be calling Jayco on Monday.

yes I have popped a few of them, but the problem is they are bubbles which mean the decal has stretched to make the bubble. so when you pop it and stick it back on it looks like a spider crack because there is some extra material left after you pop it. i will also be contacting jayco on monday.

Our 2011 trailer is full of bubbles on one side. We plan on taking it to a dealer when we go home in a couple of months. I think we will just get the replacements under warranty and store them until trade in time in the future. It is not just a Jayco thing. Large ugly crappy decals are used by all manufactures. WHY DON'T THEY JUST PAINT ON A FEW TASTEFUL STRIPES OR SWIRLS?

The front decal on my new 2010 23k has around 7 bubbles about the size of pea. Have poked with a needle on a warm day in sun and used a credit card to smooth them back down. They come back anyway. Also have chipping on the edges of front decal from just sitting at the dealership for 2yrs. Maybe where they washed it broke the edges off. Dunno but don't like. Thought about using a hypodermic needle/syringe and taking air out and injecting in a little glue and smoothing down again like you can do with wallpaper but am unsure of what glue safe to use on fiberglass and if it's really that important to risk it. Let us know what Jayco has to say. I still have 1yr. 11months of warranty left

I don't think cost is a factor. Have you priced a full set of decals? You can spend close to $2000.

I've had the bubbles on my 08 Eagle and just pop them with a pin. If they are warm the decal will usually shrink back down when it starts to cool.

Have only had 10 to 20 over the whole trailer and usually on the side that gets the morning sun.
