Manual Slide movement on 345BHS

My dad just left Santa Fe in his RV (not a Jayco) and when he went to leave his main slide would not come in. He said he had the manual ability to put the slide in even though it took him a while and was very labor intensive. I do not remember seeing anything of the sort on my 345BHS, if I ever get in this position is there a way to get the slide to come in if the motor failed?

In you Owners Manual, somewhere around page 64-65. There are instructions on how to retract the slide manually. On a DCG system, you'll need a 9 volt battery and a 5/8" socket/ratchet, or ratchet-wrench. On a M-Tec system, you'll only need the 5/8" ratchet-wrench. The wrench is used on the Manual extension/retraction nut, which is located on the slide motor itself.

The procedure for my Power Gear 285BH slide room is move a little handle on the motor to the unlock position and use the supplied crank on the rod to be found under the opposite side of the trailer to retract the room. Then (ideally) while maintaining pressure on the crank, re-lock the motor brake.
