Mattress

Just replaced the one that came with my unit (2009 32BHDS) with a 12" Memory Foam that I ordered from Amazon. No problem with the increase in height for us.
Have not slept on it yet but don't anticipate any problems. We went with a 14" Sleep Inovations Alden Memory Foam California King for our house. We both love it and I think it was made in the USA. Got it for $629.00 which beats heck of a regular box spring type.

I replaced my original mattress with a Sleep Number. I full time so the cost was no issue for me. For weekend or casual use I can see the cost being an issue, but it was money well worth it for me. I don't do memory foam at all. I would definitely do it again.

What happened to my original mattress? I couldn't even give it away. My niece's dogs wouldn't even sleep on it, so I burned it.

We replaced ours with a Sleep Number also. We are not full timers but consider ourselves 1/3 timers?

Nothing like a good mattress to sleep on. Pity they don't provide one with a new rig.

For us, getting a good night's sleep has been virtually at the top of our 'must have' list. Being cranky in the morning is no way to start ANY day... especially when 'camping.'

Pity we fell for the 'premium' Denver mattress hype . That mattress is nothing like a good mattress!

If I knew then what I know now, I'd have 'opted out' of a mattress and bought our own.

We did a little research on the the Denver Pillow top mattress, didn't look like a $600 mattress to us! Called the manufacturer they had no idea what we had.Looked at the tag on the mattress Michiana Mattress 60x80 standard queen .Come to find out its a knock off dead look alike to the real Denver Pillow Top.Made by Michhiana Mattress in guess where Michiana. The company makes the cheapest stuff on the planet.3 grades JAYCO uses middle one of the three!Buy the way hida bed has same junk!Happy Trails

The master cabin mattress on our 2017 29.5 BHDS was also junk... I think they only put it on the bed to have something to cover up the plywood... as it was not "sleep-able". This is a small thing that speaks to Jayco cutting corners on quality to get the cost down... too bad!

One night on the "stock" mattress was all it took. The next day, there was a brand new Serta memory foam hybrid mattress in the bedroom and the old one was given to a friend that wanted it for their cab over camper. We tried to tell them, but they didn't listen. Guess they tossed it the following day!!

I dunno. The deluxe pillowtop that came in our '12 Eagle is just as comfortable now as it was 4 years ago. Unsure of the brand as the trailer is in storage.

The stock mattress was uncomfortable to say the least. When I saw how expensive mattresses are I decided to take a chance with craigslist. Before I left I read alot of horror stories online about not buying a used mattress but decided to take a chance anyway. I saw one for a $100 and when I got there it was some rich lady's house and the mattress was in the guest room and practically new. I bought it for a hundred bucks and took the stand and the boxspring to goodwill. I took the mattress and put it on the plywood and it is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The mattress is an innserspring mattress and is 10" thick and it fits just fine. I would save money and buy an innerspring mattress.

We replaced the horrible Denver mattress with a 12" locally made innerspring pillow top. It's a standard size king and after the first night's sleep, the wife suggested we buy another to replace the sleep number in the house.

We replaced the queen mattress on our old trailer with an 8" Spa Sensations MyGel Memory Foam Mattress from WalMart. It was reasonably priced and very comfortable.

We are looking to make a change on our 29.5FBDS now, and are considering the same mattress as above. It shows as $239 on sale from $269 right now. The only concern is will the new heavier mattress be too heavy for the struts on the bed. In our trailer, the foot of the mattress needs to be lift up with the struts extended to move the master bedroom slide in.
