Maxx air vent cover?

I'll be picking up our 2014 HT 26.5RLS next week and one of the things I would like to do is install Maxx air vent covers. My question is with the bedroom vent, the roof slopes downward in this area and I'm wondering with this downward angle if the maxx air is going to keep rain out? Has anyone installed these vent covers on this unit, and how are they working.

The opening on the maxair should be facing down so you should have no problems.

Hi Seann, congrats on the HT, I have the same rig and installed Camco vent cover's on mine. Think there all pretty much the same and we just had a major down poor two days ago and no leaks. Was kinda concerned to but there is a pretty good lip around the vent and the way the covers are made would be hard for rain to get in there. My friend just picked up his 2014 26.5RLS yesterday

I have them on my HT as well. I bought the white ones because I wanted the extra light in the bathroom but now I wish I would have ordered a darker one for the bedroom. It tends to get too bright if I want to sleep a little longer after staying out by the fire too late.

Take the cover off get some Krylor black paint and paint the INSIDE of the cover.. it will keep you dark...

I run a Maxxair Fan Mate and a Turbomax with no leak issues. The Fan Mate is tilted sideways with the pitch of the roof but not enough to matter.
