MCD Shade will not stay in down position

One of my MCD shades will not stay down. It has tension and will roll up but will not catch and stay in a down position. I can found instructions on their website for other issues but not this one. Anyone have a solution for this?

Call MCD support at 800.804.1757. I had a mounting bracket that broke and they were fantastic. I received a replacement in a few days.

Now that I'm thinking about it, it could very well be one of the mounting brackets that is preventing it from not staying down. Is it very tight when pulling it down? The mechanism that controls the up & down movement is inside the mounting bracket.

No its not tight pulling down. I may have broke something. I was pulling it down and it slipped out of my fingers and rolled all the up real fast.

Did Jayco put MCD shades in the Northpoint? We have a 2020 Pinnacle, and we have Irvine Shade and Door shades, and they have an ISD logo on the end panels.

I thought that they were MCD's until I looked at them.

Either way, you should be able to repair them...

I contacted MCD and they were very helpful and ended up sending me replacement spring mechanism. Below is the video links they sent me and the contact information for the person I talked to.
